De La Hoya 100% sure Marquez will knock Mayweather out

By Liam Santiago: Boxing legend, Oscar De La Hoya has said he is 100% sure that Juan Marquez will beat Floyd Mayweather and will knock him out. De La Hoya states that Marquez has every aspect in his style needed to be victorious. He sais, ”I am 100% sure Marquez wins, styles make fights and Marquez’s style is perfect to beat Mayweather”.

JMM has heart and is a true warrior but he will need a little bit of luck to nail FM. Mainly because FM will run alot and at 36 that will cost alot of energy to chase down. which will tire him and maybe leave him vulnerable in the late rounds.
De La Hoya is a quiter. He quit against Pacquiao.
And that’s what De La Hoya said about Ricky Hatton too. Ricky Hatton was supposed to KO Pac Man.
marquez is a warrior. mayweather is just quick, he has no heart, all he fights for is money. marquez will beat him, he’s the best. Don’t let mayweather’s record fool you, he only fights who he knows he can beat.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the most overrated fighters ever (Ricky Hatton was even more overrated). If he beats Marquez, which I highly doubt, it won’t be by KO/TKO.
I think Marquez and Pacquiao are pretty even fighters and are both better than Mayweather Jr. I can’t wait for Marquez vs. Pacquiao 3. The first 2 fights were fantastic and so should be the 3rd. Mayweather Jr.’s fights are boring.
Isn’t it obvious that Pacquiao is avoiding Marquez after their first 2 fights. There has to be something to that.

De La Hoya said that like someone else commented for Pay Per View sales and that is it! De La Hoya always goes for the guy he truly believes is going to get beat. Hatton to beat Mayweather, Hatton to beat Pacquiao, Marquez to beat Mayweather…he said them because he thought the opposite!
I was a believer that Hatton was the man to beat Mayweather, even though i knew how good Mayweather was. I thought Hatton was too big for Pacquiao, and he got knocked out in the second round. But Marquez to beat Mayweather, i just cant see it! Mayweather is just too good and his defense is amazing!
Mayweather to win by lop-sided unanimous decision, no offence to Marquez because Marquez is a great fighter but he is going to be out-boxed at a weight that he has never fought at by the greatest fighter of this era! Even with nearly 2 years out Mayweather is going to do the job!
I love Marquez! I know he is chasing another fight with paquio but I am worried about the jump in weight and his age. History has shown fighters who move up late in their career lose somthing. His last fight at 135 he had everything he could handle from the baby bull.
I will cheer hard for him and hope he can do it. If he does he becomes the best fighter in this generation in my eyes. I scored him winning both paquio fights and if he moves up and beats mayweather he will be considered the best in the game by those who know. I will not bet on him due to floyds talent. Probably the most talented skilled boxer ever.
marques is a warrior that never gives up but thats not enugh to beat mayweather he will stick to his game plan and execute money is to polished elusive and fast. and his defence is picture perferct but i dont see marques getting knocked out

marquez wouldn’t win against defensive genius. Marquez is very ambitious he’s too small and not the same skill of Pacquiao to beat mayweather. Both fighters are counter puncher it’s gonna be a very boring fight. Marquez is crafty but Mayweather is very smart for sure defensive genius going to play safe with him (marquez) inside the ring to get biggest fight of his career which is Pacquiao vs Mayweather of 2010.

Marquez has never felt power above 135. If Floyd can’t knock this guy out im done bein his #1 supporter on the web on a monthly basis. period. Marquez is no push over like a David Diaz fight for Manny.
