News – Second Suspect Arrested in Vernon Forrest Murder

By Jim Dower: Earlier today, at approximately 5:15 PM, a second suspect by the name of Jquante Crews was arrested by the Atlanta police department and is being charged for the murder, including armed robbery, of boxing star Vernon Forrest on July 26th. Crews, 25, reportedly isn’t the suspect that shot Forrest, nor is the other suspect, 20-year-old Demario Ware, who was arrested yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia.
The third suspect, the one that did the actual shooting, is still at large at this time. The reports are that Crews was the driver of the getaway car, a Pontiac Grand Prix, which was used after Forrest had been shot to death by the missing third suspect after Forrest had been robbed.
Thus far, Crews is claiming that he’s innocent of the murder charges. Forrest was robbed by two of the suspects of a Rolex watch and a diamond ring while at a gas station. The suspect that shot Forrest, apparently wasn’t involved in the robbery, Police say.

Vernon was one of the best fighters of our generation. Taking any life is hell bound but Vernon was special to boxing. Killers you can start life in hell from now until you are caught.

This sh*t needs to stop! If you want the finer things in life, “WORK FOR IT” “GET A JOB”! Robbing someone else for there hard earned money is not the way to go! Most robbers don’t intend to kill but when the person fights back, 9 out 10 times, something bad is going happen! RIP CHAMP! I hope these idiots get thrown under the jail & get rapped every night!
