Pavlik and Bute probably declined. I can’t wait for Klesser and Abraham to square off. If Taylor gets KOed again he should retire.

Bika?? hes ok maybe good but is no match for Kessler, yeah he made Joe look bad but thats Bika`s style plus Joe fought with a broken hand. Too much credit is given to Bika. TOO MUCH!!!!

This is not right the man everyone is running from is MR.SAKIO BIKA.Bika is the REAL SUPERMIDDLE weight CHAMPION of the world.
SAKIO BIKA should be in this Tournement vs.Jermanie Taylor and Edision Miranda vs. Dirrell. Both are great fighters to see.Sakio and Edison Miranda should be in that line up. If Edison and Jeff Lacy would fight Miranda would win. Taylor beat Lacy and lose to Froch. Sakio would beat Froch any day of the week. but the Pomoter wouldn’t let that happen. Sakio vs. Froch and Edison M vs.J. Taylor. Put this in the works, some more Great fights to see, Can’t leave these warriors out.

This will be exciting to watch; and no one on here can disagree.

The only thing is that the belts which Kessler. Froch and anyone else who will be a S.Middleweight title holder by that time will have to vacate the belt.
Subsequentley splitting the SM division into a two-tier competition; The Tournament fighters and the other fighters such as Bika, Bute, etc

Great fight section but should happen in 2010. There going to be some great action in the 168 weight class.Supermiddle weight divison is lookin wonderful.

I cant stand the sound of all this. These are all fights that should be being made under the usual 12 round format.

Theres people with power in the industry, instead of sitting back and letting promotional companies negotiate their fighter out of a fight they should be more hands on and make sure these fights happen for the good of the sport.

We dont need no daft tournement to get these guys together.

whats the point of a tournament? these fights should be made by public demand, i dont see how dirrell and ward should be in there ahead of bute.

For all you dumb idiots who are complaining the tournament need to shut up. Hardly any good fights are being made at the moment but atleast this guarantees some good action, if every other division did this boxing would overtake UFC beyond belief.

Sounds like a great idea to get the best to fight the best, which is what everyone wants and what boxing needs. However, there are a lot of potential problems that could get in the way of this, such as pay, titles, injuries, etc. I think there should be at least another two fighters put in it as well for the reasons Glass Joe stated and those I have wrote above.

Sounds a bit tricky though. If no official winner or losers will be defined, them my thinking lands on showtime and promoters to make big money out of us, and only on the final the winner will be determined. Sounds like an amateur Olympic preparation camp. Again, it’s all about exclusive showtime boxIing.
I go with AA anyways.

i think th idea of tornaments is stupid, this is boxing not chess or cricket or tennis for god sake. having a tornament just rules out other options for fighters.

one problem I see with this tournament is there are six fighters. So I guess the winner of one of the fights gets a bye? That wouldn’t be fair to other 2 fighters who would have to fight 3 times. Either 2 more fighters must be added or this has to be explained clearer
