All this talk about Dirrell is nonsense, he is unproven and weak. Your saying that Dirrell is superior in every way… does he have a better chin? Is he a harder puncher?

The answer is a resounding NO… they are the most important things. He will not be able to duck and dive for 12 rounds, absolutely no way.

I predict an early knockout, Froch has far to much power.

What a ridiculously bias article. Froch has the chin and the power to beat any fighter out there… he will destroy Dirrell, no question.

Cannot see this fight going beyond round 7, Froch to win by spectacular KO.

Once again, a hugely frustrating article.
As a british bloke, i admire American boxing. The refereeing is hugely preferable to ours.(holding is often allowed to ruin the fights in britain.)
What i can’t understand is this bias against Froch, he is a hugely exciting fighter with a high ko ratio, even if he does appear extremely easy to hit, what does it matter?
He is always in with a shot and isn’t that what people want to see? don’t they make the best fights?
I’m really surprised at an american disliking him.
Calzaghe deserved all he got from americans saying he ’slapped’. A lot of us brits thought he did too,and he certainly wasn’t hugely exciting.
But when that someone a bit special comes along, who defies the odds with his passion to win and punches with power, i really thought the americans would like him. The real boxing fans do, i’m sure. Theres always some berk letting down his country, and scott mate, your doing a fine job.

Showtime “Er, sorry, that’s a mistake, it’s actually an inexperienced guy who’s never fought outside his own country and you’ll be on home turf.”
CF: “NOOOOO ! That really is THE WORST POSSIBLE NEWS”

I disagree this is the worst news possible, I think if Froch could have handpicked any of the other five Dirrell would have been his FIRST choice simply because all the rest (even Ward has at least beaten one decent name in Miranda) have operated at top level to some extent. Make no mistake, this is a step up for Direll, he will either shine or be exposed as yet another hype job. Let’s see what happens.

This awful idiot of a writer looks down on Froch a man who has mercelessly hunted down every top opponant possible from joe calzaghe to jermain taylor and offered to fight them on there own doorsteps…and instead backs a man nobody has heard of and who has fought nobody.
