Good win for Kahn, cant blame him for taking that fight, easy way to world champ and great confidence boost.

No real power from Kotelnik, Kahn could take his shots quite well. Just hope that some British dont now start saying that Kahns jaw is the best in boxing, my guess is that its still a bit glassy.

And to state the obvious Freddie Roach
is a great coach, and Kahn used quite a lot of body punches as requested by Roach, wrong there Scott.

I like Kahn, great skill and speed, that chin will always be iffy though, his ears flapped like dumbo when that prescott fellow almost removed his head.

With any luck he will go on and beat all Scotts favourite boxers, just out of badness

Well it doesn’t make a difference whether Kotelnik is the weakest champion or not, he is a world champion and has beaten the big hitter, Reeves who attacked Kotelnik with brutal force and yet Kotelnik came out victourious and Ko’d Reeves and earned the title of WBA super lightweight title. The fact he has beaten or very closly to the worlds best indacate Kotelnik is a champion and a good one at that so Khan should get a lot of credit for beatin Kotelnik who is a world champion and has beaten or very closly lost to the world best.

You say you hope it isnt a growing trend for British fighters being given title shots before they have proved themselves against good quality opponants.

Well i hope it is a growing trend. This type of thing has been going on for years and more than any other nation American fighters have proffited from this kind of thing.

So let the trend grow, if the Yanks can do it then so can the Britains. And if it keeps gettin more ridiculous maybe sometihng will get done to stop it eventually.
