Taylor fought a whole bunch of jr.middle weights (including Spinks(who was knocked out by Judah, a welterweight),that Ugandan etc.).He could´nt floor not even one of them ,as a matter of fact i remember the Ugandan saying that taylor could`nt punch his way out of a paper bag,yet Taylor had Froch out on his feet.To me that proves Froch is not ironed jaw as his jock strap holders claim.He is not a big puncher either,he hit Pascal with tons of punches and he never looked hurt at any time,and pascal was badly hurt by a non-punching preliminary fighter 3 fights previously. Dirrell is going to give him a serioos beating before stopping him.

I’m looking forward to going to Nottingham’s “snake pit” to watch Froch “punch like a donkey…I mean like a mule”. I just hope he’s not gunna start kicking as I don’t want either fighter losing by disqualification.

…But in all honesty it’s quite clear Kessler is the best fighter in this comp. Kessler v Froch is gonna be like the Danish version of Calzaghe/Lacy…the cobra gets schooled, and then KO’d. There’s a chance Froch could get lucky (again) and squeak past the less experienced Dirrell (although Andre’s superior speed should win him a UD). But against Mikkel??? Not a chance in hell.

look froch has plenty of faults = terible defence,balance,are just 2 that spring too mind but boy can he bang and he’s got great stamina,also he’s deceptivly quick and i like his corkscrew hook turned uppercut which will smash the granny out of dirrel.i see the fight against kessler too close to call.also i don’t see what the fuss is about abraham’s,he’s looked dire in his last 3 fights and will be exposed in this tourno i’d have preferred pavlick in the six but i suppose you can’t have everything!!!

I completely agree with the author. I predict Dirrell will beat Froch, in fact at 15/1 I’ve bet a fiver on Dirrell winning the tournament. After Dirrell, Froch faces the world’s No.1 Super middle, and then the world’s No.2 Middle…It could well be 3 straight losses.

Dirrell will try running for 12 rounds, taking pot shots because he’s American and everyone know yank fighters lack the heart to stand toe to toe and trade like the 3 European warriors in the competition!
The author says no ones giving froch a chance…. Hang on, the bookies make him second favourite and dirrell is the competition rank outsider at 16/1!!!

I pity you Scott. What Will you have to write about once Froch knocks out Dirrell.

I dont think Froch will win the whole thing (I’d love it if he did, but he wont) and I quite like watching Dirrell, but just because of you, I hope he gets smashed to bits. You are a moron. You write complete and utter nonsense. You have been banging on about Dirrell, and how he is far superior to Taylor, Pascall, and even went as far as to predict how he would beat all of the super middleweights (calzaghe included) and told us how he would do it. What do you vase this garbage on.
The guy is a prospect. Nothing else. You constantly bang on about Amir Khan and his suspect chin. What about Dirrell. Knocked down twice by Anthony (who) Hanshaw. He didnt seem so elusive in the first round of that fight. If, sorry when Froch connects, it’s as good as over.

Froch looked awful against taylor.

I admire him for taking everyone on tho, he cant box, but he can bang and he has a fairly solid chin.
Either way this tournament is the best thing to happen for boxintg in a long time!
