Boxing Results – Palacios Stops Ntoh, Fonseca Decisions Pastrana

By Eliel “D’One” Flores: As I expected, unbeaten Puerto Rican cruiserweight Francisco “The Wizard” Palacios (18-0-0-11 KO’s) destroyed the Cameroonian Manu Ntoh (17-18-1-4 KO’s) in the first round tonight at the Bank Atlantic Center, in Sunrise, Florida. The fight was stopped by the referee at 2:59 of the round. Also on the card, unbeaten Puerto Rican batamweight prospect Victor “Vitino” Fonseca (15-0, 8 KO’s) shutout former two division world champion Mauricion Pastrana (35-11-2, 23 KO’s), beating him by an eight-round unanimous decision. The final judges’ scores were 80-71, 80-71 and 80-71.
