Well it was just a vent for me after reading so much junk about him. So it wasnt particulary somthing that i had read on this page.

Well thats a good question i think if he had faught pacpuio in stead of tyszu for the tittle then Hatton still would have won.
Maywheather am not sure hes a big guy for Hatton.

Any way i get sick of all the crictics, and espcially when they curse continually, it just makes them look less inteligent then they are and for me dosnt have the effect they anticipate. I dont see boxing as a destructive thing were i would sream knock his head when watching a bout. i see it as a composition and when fighting we are composing a symphony or painting a picture. Just watch them, hagler or robinson. And to compose well you must understand the science ofthe sport

Who on this page has been putting Hatton down or critisizeing him? no one

He's one of my sporting heros, i just pointed out he has put on weight already,

and you cant honestly say you think he would beat mayweather or pacquio if they fought again, that might just be blind loyalty rather than analytical boxing knowlage

Well said!

I dont know what the deal is with every body putting hatton down.

Its allways easy to be a critic though i guess, id rather be positive and not put people down.

Any way i dont think he is finished but i am wondering if he could still fight the way he did when he wore down Costa Tszyu. That was truely a brave effort he put in against a much more skilled opponent. So there is the question as to if May wheather was just a little to big and had damaged hatton, but i dont think his has completly lost his punch resistnace, he just went in against two good fighers and got caught. The last fight really didnt prove much for me as he wasnt prpared going in and that punch would have nocked out a middle wieght.

One more thing where were Pac man and Floyd when hatton was ruling his division for 4 years as champion infact where was anybody.

I think a reunion with mr Greham wouldnt go a miss for Hatton if he is humble enough which i think he is.

I for one am tired of hearing people critisize and
bad mouth Ricky Hatton. There are very few men in the history of the sport of boxing that can match his accomplishments.

I don't think that Hatton is finished at all. But I do think that at his high level of competition he has reached the extreme highs, but you also must expect that with the number of fights he has had that you have to expect the lows. I don't belive that Mayweather or Pac are any better than Hatton, I just think that eventually Hatton had to have a few days of bad luck.

Hatton did very well with Mayweather, and in my own humble opinion, if he had a second crack at either one of them, that he would beat them.

Obviously I have a very high opinion of the great fighter Ricky Hatton, but I do believe that I am right. After all, if Joe Louis, Ali, Tyson and more recently Lennox Lewis can be brutally knocked out and defeated and return to become champion, then why can we not expect the same from Ricky Hatton.
