Haye needs to fight twice before he steps in ring with the Klitscho's brothers. Wladimir has his hands full against Chagaev. So Haye the fighters that's all some action in the Heavyweight is calling for u. Kevin Johnson say's he will close ur mouth for u if u step in the ring with him. Lamon Brewster is another fighter that's ready to do battle for the spot again. Chris Arreola vs. Lamon Brewster would be a fight to see. Lamon is a Former Heavyweight Champ at one time by KO'ing Wladimir for the Title.

Are Williams and Adam the same person? You know, like Jekyll and Hyde! One writes articles and the other posts trash talk that he apparently hates from anybody else!!

Haye has missed out on the opportunity to fight Wlad this year seeing as Povetkin is lined up for November time. So why rush his recovery? He can now take time to heal properly and get back to full strength before seeking an opponent.

That's what id be doing anyway!

The comment posted here by JIM is one of the best I have ever seen, Boxing 24 should give him a job as he knows what he is talking about and can actually string a few words together unlike alot of 'journalists' on here.

Haye should fight Johnson or Arreola before he thinks of a world title shot. People can make fun of Arreola. The fact is: Arreola can punch, he has heart and his chin is pretty strong. He got knocked down by Travis Walker and yet he came back and stopped Walker.

If Johnson or Arreola land a big punch on Haye, will Haye be able to take it? Why is Haye so insistant on fighting just the Klitschko's. It is not fair on the other contenders who are fighting their way to a title shot.

Haye forsook his grand opportunity to fight the champion because of a claimed “back injury” that appears to take exactly 3 weeks to heal. Haye's wise decision to avoid an inconvenient KO at the hands of Wladimir Klitschko has side tracked the “Hayemaker” into fighting lesser foes for the time being. This may have been the plan all along, make a lot of noise but don't get hurt in the process and then make some easy money fighting the nebbishes of the division. Presto, D.D. Haye a commodity at heavyweight without the grind of the trenches.

Hmm, so Klitschko couldn't wait 3 weeks? Haye has generated alot of interest in this fight, more interest than you would get for a Klitschko fight in fact.

You honestly believe that Klitschko done the right thing by picking Chaegev? Pfft. The fact is if any boxer injures himself, they will not fight untill 100% fit. Why would Haye ruin his chances if his back is injured?

Would you be saying the same thing about Mayweather now he hurt the cartlidge in his rib? I doubt it.

The fact is, you put Haye in the ring with Chris Arreola (who is gifted a higher rank with no names on his record of any value compared to Haye), and he WILL be bombed. I wish someone would sacrifice themselves to Haye soon. Besides, the majority of legitimate boxing pundits and journalists in the US are impressed by Haye and think he is an exciting boxer. An opinion which has some weight behind it.

It's just a shame that the "pundits" on here can't see it.

Chris Williams, why don't you educate that empty head of yours before spouting utter nonsense?

Maybe, just maybe, Haye is genuinely injured, have you considered that? You seem to think Haye withdrew just to get on YOUR nerves. Grow up FFS.

Monte Barrett was a decent enough opponent for Haye and I remember plenty of people picking him to "expose" Haye and send him back to cruiser. You were probably one of them. Barrett had a top 10 ranking from one of the major organisations. That was all Haye promised and he duly delivered.

As for his "low level" opponents, you again reveal your ignorance and lack of knowlegde. Let me break it down for you. Haye faced 5 Ring mag current or future top 10 opponents. He knocked out 4 of them (Gurov, Maccarinelli, Mormeck and Fragomeni) and lost to Carl Thompson who was ranked 5th at the time, IBO champ and only Haye's 11th pro fight. Soft opponents? Yea right. Let's not forget, he took Mormeck (Ring champion and acknowledged "Man" of the division") in his back yard and knocked him out in front of his own fans. Another soft touch right?

In addition to the 5 Ring mag top 10 opponents he faced, he also faced Glen Kelly, Lasse Johannsen, Arthur Williams and Vincenzo Rossito, all of whom possessed a top 10 ranking with a major organisation. He knocked all of them out as well.

So that's 9 top 10 calibre opponents in 21 fights (all knocked out), which include the Ring Mag, WBC and WBA champ and a unification with the WBO champ.

Show me a comparable resume in the sport today at 21 fights. Just one!

Now granted, he hasn't achieved a whole lot at heavy (yet), but his two opponents - Bonin, carried a WBC no 11 ranking (knocked out in the 1st, down 3 times) and Barrett who was ranked 6 by the WBO (knocked out and down multiple times).

I will end it there as I have more than made my point.

I am sick of reading your David Haye rants Mr Williams, you are obviously a total prick.

The greatest had far more heavyweight fights in his career before he fought Liston than Haye has had. David Haye has had two heavyweight contests before calling out Klitchko.

An injury has postponed him realising his dream and I cant wait for him to ram your racist outbursts straight back down your throat when he becomes world champ.

Lets be honest even if haye beat arreola or anyone else you would still make something up to put him down.

WHY DO YOU KEEP WRITING ABOUT THE SAME MAN IF YOU DISLIKE HIM THAT MUCH ITS SO WEIRD???
