Frank Warren: Haye pulled out due to money

By Liam Santiago: British Promoter, Frank Warren, has claimed in an interview at boxing news online that Heavyweight, David Haye, did not have a back problem, but had issues with Setanta over money. Warren said: ‘He had a Setanta problem. He asked for the money up front and they wouldn’t pay him. I know that for a fact.’ However, Warren does not promote Haye.
Next Haye might have to fight Vitali Klitschko instead who has a very similar style to his brother. Vitali would cause Haye the same problems as his brother, if not more.

Looks like this is the truth , and i dont blame david haye.
The Klitchos had all the cards in their favor. They were making money from tickets and everything else. All david haye had was his TV deal in the UK.
Why would he fight for nothing. This is all the business of the sport.
Lets hope haye gets another chance to fight, and a more reliable TV deal so he can get paid for putting his health on the line.

Even Klitschko said after his fight Haye tried to postpone the fight for 2 week, he said no, then, as if by magic, hand injury.
For what it’s worth I don’t blame Haye one bit, even though I think he’s a tool.

i would have put the $ up for haye to get his butt kickt, why didnt he ask man a lot of us would have! and would’nt want a penny back. it would be worth every penny!
