guys please dont underestimate michael katsidis. he is an excelent fighter and boxer. and will most likely take out pacquiao in there early 2010 bout to become p4p best fighter in the world. i have spoken with both fighters and if katsidis can defeat hatton. the fight will be on in las vegas in either jan or feb of next year. so keep posted fans

Taz, I suggest you watch the Earl-Katsidis fight. You'll see why Khan took Earl out so quickly, but just in case you miss it, it was because Earl was shot.

Earl was down 3 or 4 times and his corner threw in the towel, only for Mickey Vann to throw it back out and Earl to go on and deck Katsidis. He took a lot more punishment despite giving it his all in the next 3 rounds, being pulled out after the fifth. For a fighter who had been involved in a number of wars previously, this was one too far. He was shot when he faced Khan, going on to be blown-out again in the first round in his next (and last) fight.

I would like Ricky to Bow out with a victory. And feel whoever they put in front of him for his next fight he will beat! (because they opponent wont be great) But the only problem i have is... if he does win it will make him feel like superman again and want to continue fighting

Earl wasnt the same fighter after he had fought Katsidas, Khan was picking up the pieces though his speed was impressive.
This fight could be a cracker or a stinker, both have power but are both cut prone, there could be a no-contest in the 1st.
