So Perez is speechless? Can he also be unable to write? Please? Perhaps if you really analyze the matches rather than being a fanboy, you may not be so surprised when good fighters win their fights. I am Mexican-American. I would prefer that fighters who represent my heritage win too, but I understand that there are other cultures who produce great fighters and I am not going to blind myself to the qualities of other fighters just because they aren’t Mexican. Two very good fighters beat two good fighters today. That’s it. It isn’t one culture’s victory over another it is two fighters beating two other fighters. Perhaps if Perez evaluated the fighters on their strengths and weaknesses rather than being a racial cheerleader, then his articles might improve and discussions wouldn’t descend into jingoism.

Wins for the Filipinos. MIsmatch for Donaire, But a very good fight between Solis And Villoria. Solis is very tough, hometown crowd was a very big plus for Villoria. Congrats to Donaire and Villoria, also to Solis who put up a very good fight.
