calzaghe gets called a ducker for retiring and not fighting the likes of dawson etc but b-hop wont fight and the american ‘boxing writer’ states he doesnt blame him (and i quote). b-hop wouldnt want to fight kessler either would he not????? the same kessler beaten in a great battle by calzaghe!!! need i say more!!!!!!!!!

Shame would’ve been a good fight and I’d respect Hopkins for taking the fight.

A fight against Dawson would be good to see what the fuss is about.

I hope B-Hop wins his fight if him and Adamek have a boxing match, but Bernard Hopkins has to be really careful, Adamek looks like a very strong dude. I don’t think Chad Dawson is ready for a fight with B-Hop. Bernard is doing the right thing. He wants to let the younger generation of boxers take over when he eventually retires.

Hopkins has already said he won’t fight Dawson because he’d end up damaging the career of an up and coming young, black, American boxer. Regardless of Dawson’s overratedness, Bernard would rather not be the one to press the button on him.

Nor will Hopkins fight Kessler, because he knows there’s a good chance the Dane would win. Everyone knows Kessler is probably the biggest threat out there. He’s the most ducked fighter in the profession right now.

Anon, I understand your point totally, its not Hopkins my gripe is with its his promotions team.

Theres taking the bigger cut then theres giving the opponant a pittance.

Adamek is the Cruiserweight Champion, hes not a big draw like Hopkins but he deserves some sort of credit.

David Haye deserves a pittance apparently because hes the challenger and hasnt really proved his worth at heavyweight, this is what some Americans on here say.

But then what does that make Hopkins? 1st fight at Cruiserweight fighting the champion? The difference being?

I understand the facts of money and Hopkins will be the 1 generating most of it but give the Pole some credit atleast and his fair share of the purse seeing as hes the champ.

B-Hop if I was you take the fight vs. Tomasz Adamek and set the pursue at a 60-40 split between the two fighter, Tomasz is the Cruiserweight Champion so B-Hop take the fight your the opponent,and if your beat Tomasz like you beat Pavlik it would be know thing and Retire as cruiserweight Champion of the World as the best in 4 divison. B-Hop is a legend at this game.B-Hop your time is now to be Cruiserweight Champion and Retire as one of the best of all time.
