Very good fighter in Funeka, great stamina, relentless attack and a big heart. He tried his best to get the belts because he was entitled to win them even though Campbell was stripped. Campbell really had to dig deep to win hes a great champion and even though he didnt make weight he was in excellent condition.

i thought campbell won but funeka is among the elite. he could beat the winner of diaz marquez. or edwin valero or joanie guzman

  • James Hughes says:

Yep, IBF and WBO now both vacant. He gave up the WBA due to having too many mandatories and not enough time to fight them all. Paulus Moses is now the WBA belt holder – not sure whether that’s interim or full though. At least there’s no regular/super champion nonsense with this WBA belt.

Yes he’s lost both, had to drop one before cos he didn’t wana do a mandatory. Its a shame because he was a real success story and know people can use this as a excuse not to fight him, plus he has no belts. Also while light welter is developing (eg Ricardo Torees, Kendall Holt, Tim Bradley etc) there is no massive names and now he can’t be the second man to unify all 4 belts, with a Pacman match

So whats happened with his titles? Has he lost them and they are vacant?
