De La Hoya – What’s The Real Reason Oscar Lost To Pacquiao?
By Jason Kim: Since losing to Manny Pacquiao in a brutal eight-round beat down on December 6th, there have been various explanations as to the main reason that Oscar De La Hoya (39-6, 30 KOs) lost in such a terribly manner. The excuses have ranged from De La Hoya’s diet, which was more or less [...]
Would David Haye Be Better Off Fighting Odlanier Solis?
By Dave Lahr: Count me in on one of those who see David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) making a huge mistake by fighting either of the Klitschko brothers at this point in Haye’s career. The experience or that thereof for Haye, 28, is something I’m troubled by most of all. I could care less about [...]

Berto vs. Collazo on January 17th
By Chris Williams: Talent, speed, and a brittle chin, World Boxing Council welterweight champion Andre Berto (23-0, 19 KOs) has all of them. The unvarnished truth about Berto is that he’s a talented fighter but one loaded with flaws, starting with his chin and ending with his limited 5’8″ size, small for a welterweight. Some [...]

Inkin, who was making his first defence of his WBO title, stood toe [...]
If Calzaghe Retires Now, Does He Deserve To Be In The HOF?
By Dan Ambrose: Joe Calzaghe (46-0, 32 KOs) faithfully defended his WBO super middleweight belt for 10 years, beating every mandatory challenger that was set in front of him and doing his part in creating a lasting legacy that you would think would put him in the boxing Hall of Fame. Yet while defending the [...]

Which Round Will Wladimir Be Knocking Haye Out?
By Jim Dower: The question is no longer whether IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitchscko will be knocking David Haye out, it’s what round. With a history of a glass jaw, which wasn’t helped by Haye’s 5th round knockdown by Monte Barrett in November, Haye, 28, is little better than an inflated cruiserweight with neither the [...]
Does De La Hoya Have Anything Left?
By Chris Williams: It’s sad to see when once great fighters stick around a little too long in the sport of boxing and end up taking a lot of punishment at the end of their careers. In most circumstances, fighters do it because they didn’t make enough money in their career. That’s what makes it [...]

The Legend Of Charley Burley
By Adam Laiolo: Greatness isn’t always about how talented you are. Sometimes greatness is achieved just by doing the right things at the right time, and a lack of ability can be substituted for others traits such as determination and heart. Sometimes it just isn’t meant to be you, no matter how you strive and [...]
Calzaghe Needs To Retire Already
By Scott Gilfoid: I got to say I’m positively sick of hearing about whether Joe Calzaghe has made up his mind or not about retiring from boxing. I was hoping that he would man up and show some courage and fight a live opponent for a change like Carl Froch, Chad Dawson or Jermain Taylor [...]
