I heard the WBA is going to allow Valuev to join the WWE. They are going to do a triple treat match that will pit “The Big Show” vs. Valuev vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. (a la Rocky 3). Its gonna be awesome fight fans!

Theres judging it badly then theres blatent cheating.

Theres an article somwhere that says “Does Evander have to knock Valuev out to win?”.

It seems so now. Actually if he had of knocked him down it wouldnt of been a suprise for the ref to actually give Evander the count.

A true fix, the fight was always guna be a bit of a boring joke but atleast make it fair.

This is boxing not WWE.

That fight has to been fixed. Hollyfield won that unanimous decicision those judges should be locked up… No disrespect to Valueve but what a shame.

Ok Evander has now beaten Valueve or so he should have, no disrespect but what a disgrace to the boxing community after hollyfield outboxed Valueve for 12 rounds. Kind of like Toney did to Peters, except Toney landed several more sharp and devastating blows to peters than hollyfield to valueve. both times. I am ashamed of the way Lights out Toney has been treated since he has enetered the Heavyweight division. No respect for the best defensive counter puncher in the game. Shame on you. I believe that Toney can counter punch viciously Vladimir Klitcho for 12 rounds. I feel like Vladimir would of picked apart Valueve, though Valueve was givin an unfair decision over hollyfield, i still feel like he is not worthy. it was a shamefull decision. Toney vs. Klitcho is the only way to clear cut a heavyweight champ. Peters threw feather fake punches at toney while toney defensively controlled the fight, in which Toney has earned the respect that Peters has not. Those judges are pathetic and need to retire, not James.Although I need to see toney come in the best shape for his next fight. The style is in such great contrast from each other that vladimir will fail on the inside. Like Vladimir picked apart Rahman he will not be able to do so against a fluint but yet responsive Toney. Toney is the greatest Defensive counter puncher in boxing history and still carries those same skills and talents. I often wondered wether Tney could get buy Valueve but after seeing Hollyfield and Valueve fight I know that Toney would dissmantle and make Valueve look silly, And evander would not stand a punchers chance against Toney. Toney has been cheated since being in the heavyweight division. Theres no question Toney should be fighting Vladimir. the New comers can wait, we need to settle the veterans that everyone is counting out before letting the younglads have there shot. I do believe Toney must put in a great effort against Vladimir instead of his usual knowing he will dominate style. He needs to make a vicious statement. Not that he should stray from his style by no means but just inforce it, and have the dimeanor of knocking his opponent out no questions. I get the feeling that Toney plays with his opponents testing them mentally, but in his next fight i would like to see a mean James Lights out Toney that will test himself…

There’s two things that’s ruining boxing; decisions like this and UFC. Decisions like this make boxing not look like a professional, legitimate sport. The UFC is all over TV, basically satisfying boxing fans on a weekly basis without PPV’s like this Holyfield fight… reminds me of when Microsoft gave their operating system for free with purchase of a computer… great strategy followed by the UFC.

I have long appreciated Evander as he has accomplished far more than anyone except himself believed possible. The very idea that he would even dare get in the ring not just one time but two with that animal Tyson. But as much as I did admi9re the guy, I am as much saddened to see that he can not see the writing on the wall. The one positive I saw in this fight for him was a potential million dollar payoff minus expenses. He did nothing to change my mind about him being at serious risk to him,self by continuing. For his sake, be grateful he was not in with a puncher. I wish Holyfield the very best, now if only he would contribute to his own well being.

Regardless of the two fighters performanced there is no way any honest judge could score the fight in valuev’s favour a rematch shouldn’t be necessary . The decision should be overturned .The public can’t be treated this way action needs to be taken .Lewis drummed up an outcry at a much closer fight with holyfield

Evander you are the real winner, hopefully the WBA will realise the judges cant do their job and force a rematch in the US.

Those Judges need hanging. That was daylight robbery. I agree Evander should have retired after Lewis in 1999 but he still won the fight by at least 116-112

I’m sickened. This is as rotten as it gets in this sport. I can’t help but think it’s corruption. Valuev fought like a dead man. He’s eleven years younger and about a foot taller and fighting a 46-year-old man with virtually nothing left. Valuev lost to that man under those circumstances and lost convincingly. Those judges should never work again.
