WBC emeritus champion Vitali Klitschko (35-2, 34 KOs) weighed in at a trim 247 lbs and WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter (30-1, 23 KOs) came in at a powerful 253.5 at today’s weigh-in for their WBC clash on Saturday at the O2 Arena on Berlin, Germany. Vitali, 37, hasn’t fought since December 2004, at which time he stopped British heavyweight Danny Williams in an 8th round TKO. Plagued by injuries, Vitali retired in 2005. On Saturday night, Vitali will get a chance to recapture his title against arguably the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division when he takes on Peter.
