Having just discovered your site and read such a biased preview by Andrew Latimore ,as one of Hopkins biggest fans,all i can say is what happened guys?.If i come across as smug it is because i love to see the so called no hoper(even one as good as Hopkins) beat the so called superstar.Somebody should teach Pavlik the value of having a plan b.

PS If Pavlik is the hardest hitting middleweight you have seen ,then you are obviousy never saw the likes of Hearns,Hagler and Robinson.Even Messrs Jackson and McClellan have a huge argument here.

Hopkins UD – I hope. Then Pavlik should go back to clearing up the middleweights before shouting his mouth off to Calzaghe. Pavlik – Abraham unification bout, that would be great.

Clazaghe will NEVER be considered an all time great unless he fights Pavlik. All hardcore boxing fans know this. I clearly remember that Joe promised Pavlik that he would fight him unless he beats Joe’s father fighter being Gary Lockett. Pavlik then TOTALLY DESTROYED lockett in 3 easy rounds. Calzaghe quickly changed his mind cause he knows he underestimated Pavliks power and went running CHICKEN SCARED not wanting any of Kelly..hahahahahahaha

Hopkins is the man who lost twice to the man who lost twice to the man who is fighting him. Those facts dont sound good to me.

Calzaghe struggled so much with Hopkins because Hopkins is the best fighter in the world at beating southpaws, but Calzaghe obviously deserved the decision.
Pavlik should win but don’t rule out an upset with Hopkins…if not he will regret saying he’ll never lose to a white boy even more!

the reason hopkins slowed down in the calzaghe fight had nohing to do with calzaghes punches, it was due to the fact that calzaghe moves a lot in the ring, and quickly, and hopkins was moving with him making him miss for half the fight, so if you think pavlik has the same sort of workrate as joe you will be in for a shock. pavlik is a lot slower, hopkins wont have to mve as much, and therefore hopkins will have more energy and be more effective for more of the fight. Secondly, calzaghe has a much better defence than pavlik, pavlik has been hurt a lot before, and if he thinks he can walk through hopkins without having a tight defence (which calzaghe, despite attacking a lot, does have) then he will get hurt. Hopkins UD in my eyes.
