All should keep in mind that he was 43 years old, was winning the first half of the fight and came out of this fight unscaved. Joe's performance was not dominant one. He did enough to win the fight, but I was not impressed with his pitter-pat combinations. In the end, it was a smart fight on Joe's part because he did not want to get set up for another straight right hand. Hopkins went to the well once too many.
