im sorry but i argree with the auther marquez got cheated out of that fight dont get me wrong i like manny but he did not deserve that win. And i also think there should be another rematch whicj im sure marquez will be victious

These two fighters are evenly matched… PacMan’s got the edge in power and ability to take a punch while Marquez has the edge in boxing skills. It’s a matter of how the judges saw it… it is what it is and I respect the final decision. I do not think the judges were biased or incompetent, which is what the writer is suggesting.

I agree, article is so bias. I’m not favoring anyone of these fighters but in the end Manny took it. Just face it and move on to the next fight The judges saw that Manny had the more effective punches and that’s why he won. I thought if they went another round that Marquez would be in trouble because Manny looked like he still had energy to go another round or two.

very bias write up, please do remember the 3rd round should have been scored 10-7, marquez hang on to the ropes on the final seconds and Referee Bayless could have given him a standing 8 count..just remember what happened to his brother Rafael…

the author of this is good in writing as marquez is good in talking. in boxing, you have to be good inside the ring.besides, the judges are the authority in evaluating the better performance.

on the first fight, Manny virtually lost that fight due to a judge’s error in points computation. the decision was final.Manny took like a man. this 2nd fight, the majority gave Manny the fight. i best say the judges’ decsion was final. there were no formal complaints lodged by JMM party based on what they believe. lets be fair gents! move on to the next fight at 135lbs.
